Shree Simandhar Swami Janma Kalyanak

6th of May signifies the Janma Kalyanak day (birthday) of the current living Tirthankar, Shree Simandhar Swami, the auspicious absolutely Enlightened Lord who resides in a neighbouring world, Mahavideh Kshetra. On this day, we should reaffirm our intent to utterly surrender to the Lord with the utmost sincerity for any connection to the Lord shortens our path to moksha (liberation from the cycle of birth and rebirth).

He further advises us to offer our obeisance to Lord Simandhar Swami, by saying the following prayer at least 40 times, every day: "With the live presence of Dada Bhagwan as my witness, with utmost reverence and devotion, I bow to Tirthankar Lord Shri Simandhar Swami, who at present moves about in Mahavideh world."
