Goddess Ambika, is also known as Amba Maa is worshipped and accepted by many religions in India. Amba Maa is also known by many other names - Bahuchara Maa, Kalika Maa, and Durga Maa. All over the world, millions celebrate the festival of Navratri, honouring Ambika (Mataji) with utmost love and devotion.
The power of Mataji is adhya shakti (the original energy force) – her divine ability to not only destroy worldly obstacles but also to infuse energy to our worldly self (prakruti) so that it restored to its natural and spontaneous state (sahaj). When your personality remains and behaves in this natural spontaneous state, then it is referred to as sahaj prakruti.
When the body is in this natural state, impurities are removed from within, and the mind is free from the interference of the intellect and ego. In the words of the founder of the spiritual science Akram Vignan, Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, “You can have peace by worshipping Mataji, and your prakruti (one’s worldly Self) can become natural.” He says this is the state we feel when we are performing garba (the dance celebrated through Navratri). When we are natural and spontaneous, our mind is free to acquire the correct knowledge, a prerequisite to help us on our path to liberation.
Thus, during this year’s festival of Navratri devote yourself to Mataji and pray for her to instil her divine powers into us all, so that our natural, spontaneous, energised prakruti becomes receptive to acquire the right knowledge to enable us to fast track our path to liberation.
