Rakshabandhan

Attain ultimate protection this Rakshabandhan

22 August 2021

Rakshabandhan is the auspicious occasion where a sister and brother renew their bond together and pray for mutual protection. Traditionally, the sister ties a rakhi (thread tied around the wrist) to her brother, symbolising her acceptance of her brother’s pledge to protect her throughout her life against all evil.

This year, why not seize the opportunity to attain the ultimate level of protection – perpetual protection throughout all our lifetimes until we attain permanent liberation. This can be attained by devoutly tying a rakhi to the current living Tirthankar, Lord Simandhar Swami. In doing so, we create a sacred bond with the Lord, surrendering our life to Him and unconditionally accepting His divine protection until we attain permanent liberation.

So, this year as we celebrate Rakshabandhan with our beloved brothers and sisters, let us also embrace the opportunity to securing the higher, ultimate protection. With the blessings of Dada Bhagwan, the founder of Akram Vignan, tie a rakhi to Shree Simandhar Swami and revel in the assurance that we are firmly on the path to attain liberation and peace. Now that’s really worth celebrating!!
