Pujya Niruma’s Gnan Day

Strive to attain the state of continuous awareness of the Self like Pujya Niruma

07 July 2020

July 8th, 1968 commemorates the day that Pujya Niruma’s tremendously inspiring spiritual journey began. For it was on this day, at the age of 23, that she gained the auspicious gift of self-realization (Gnan) bestowed upon her by the founder of Akram Vignan, Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan.

This priceless gift awakened her spiritual journey and led to a life utterly devoted to serving Pujya Dada Bhagwan and achieving the mission of Akram Vignan. During her time on this Earth, our beloved Mother’s spirituality soared to such a height that the total clear experience of the Self (Spashta Vedan) had manifest within Her! Indeed, before leaving this Earth, Pujya Dada Bhagwan anointed Pujya Niruma with the baton of continuing to seek the salvation of the entire world by spreading the knowledge of Akram Vignan.

Thus, as we reflect on our Mother of Akram Vignan’s Gnan day, we should all make a firm inner intent to ask Dada Bhagwan for strength to help us attain the same remarkable spiritual progress that Pujya Niruma attained. We all strive for the continuous state of the knowledge of the Soul, a state of perpetual bliss unaffected by worldly and material life. This gift is already in the hand for all Mahatmas! All that is needed is a real spiritual effort (purusharth). And for new seekers, they too can benefit by connecting to virtual Satsang conducted by Pujyashree Deepakbhai, the current torchbearer of Akram Vignan.

So, on this auspicious day, we should all bow down and acknowledge the Mother of Akram Vignan. In the honour of Pujya Niruma’s memory lets us make a strong pledge to follow in her footsteps with a firm determination to make progress towards our spiritual goal of liberation (moksha).
